Ruger is a regular at CrossFit Justice, although he does amaze anyone with his blazing speed or agility; he does offer the athletes a companion to lay on the ground with after a tough WOD or the CrossFit Kids extra support with a warm, wet lick.
Although Pistol may look a little thick through the middle, he has amazing speed and agility, especially when there is a squirrel nearby. He has been working on his downward dog position, perfecting it to an award winning level.
Pistol enjoys long walks (30 minutes twice a day) and has recently retired from his running career.
He is a lover of all athletes, young and old; however particularly loves those who bring him treats.
Pistol can be frequently found lounging BY his pillow, as he doesn't necessarily lay on it. He is a sucker for soft things (hint if you flip his pillow over it is quiet comical how he must turn it back over.)

After a successful journey as a Division I floor gymnest at Eastern Michigan University for five years, Chantelle was looking to fill a void in her athletic profile, that's when she found CrossFit and was immediately hooked! "I love that Crossfit is holistic and incorporates strength and endurance training along with so much more. As my love for Crossfit grew, I began spending more time in the gym training and realized that I wanted to begin training others as well." Over the past year Chantelle has competed in several competitions and also competed on a team at Regionals. More recently she competed at Granite Games as an individual and have also qualified for Wodapalooza, which is an upcoming competition in Miami! "I love that the sport of Crossfit pushes you out of your comfort zone and allows you to constantly learn and grow as an athlete. Helping others to see what they are capable of is very rewarding and inspiring to me as both an athlete and a coach. I strive to create an energetic environment and enjoy sharing my passion with others!"

A middle school teacher of 18 years, it was a natural progression for Vaughn to blend his two passions of teaching and CrossFit. Vaughn enjoys participating in competitions and is constantly inspired by how far our athletes are willing to push themselves into “the suck” to get better every day. When not training, Vaughn’s favorite things are to seek out adventure with his wife and two sons through camping, boating, biking, hiking, and the thrill of discovering what is around the next bend.
